Coaches of the qualifying men’s national football teams who will be playing each other in the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament have made their predictions about the matches coming up next summer, on the red carpet in Bucharest on Saturday night.

“Well we’re England and we don’t have the luxury very often of picking whether we win or come second or third. We’ve come unstuck often enough to not think about those things so we’ll set the objective of qualifying from the group first and we’ll go from there,” said England manager Gareth Southgate.

Croatian men’s national football team manager Zlatko Dalic spoke of his worries for playing England, stating, “it will not be easy, because England now is a fantastic team.”

Both Ukrainian coach Andriy Shevchenko and German manager Joachim Low expressed concerns about playing Portugal, because of their “strong” team.
